Thanks for the insult. I ask a simple question and I'm subjected to ridicule. I'm flying down from N Y for the game and I thought it would be nice to stay with other fans.

You asked where the team is staying.
Not where other fans are staying.

Wouldn't it be nice if St. John's had the foresight to let fans supporting the team at away venues what hotels they would suggest to generate a family environment. Kentucky fans don't travel well by accident. They are organized travellers.

Few of our fans travel at all. If this opponent was nc state no one here would be talking about travel. Our fans are going because it's Duke.

Our student sections have a total capacity of maybe 250 tops and 1/4 of space taken up by the band. On most nights there is room in student sections, but mostly the same kids attend.

Very true, but I expect a big turnout by the students this Sunday. School is back and its a big game

Good to hear.

Question: What is a big game for St. John's going forward?

Answer: Every game.

anyone have any luck with the Iron Dukes? I signed up a couple months ago, nothing yet. I'm about to cancel my hotel reservation which I got at an amazing rate. :(

Just play fast and loose and let it all hang out.

Seriously zero pressure. This game is total house money. And win or lose it boosts their strength of schedule...

Well, after this game tonight, I can take the likely beating we'll get a little easier.

Hopefully, we give a good effort.

Agree. This W tonight will make next two days more enjoyable.

Heading to Duke game on Sat morning and will be cheering and hope for the best.

Looking at the spreads for Duke at home vs comparable teams (let’s be realistic)
GT (-22.5) - only won by 13, losing at half
Cuse (-17) - lost
Clemson ( -15)- won by 19

Have to assume we open up as atleast 13 point dogs...they give us a little credit for winning last year

"It's a must win because of the following 3 games.
If they go 2-2 that would be good.
1-3 and they'll be on life support.
0-4 dead"

SWEETTTTTTT win tonight. 1-1

Now to take 1 of the next 2.
I'd love to beat Zion's ass in his home, then we won't have to worry about the Marq game, beat Duke and the Marq becomes the butter on top if we beat them.
