Earlington would have been a valuable asset to this team .  
 

Yes, but Earlington, like half of D1 last year, wanted to transfer.  Maybe he didn't want to be 3rd wheel, maybe he didn't want to play PF.  Maybe he likes to surf.  Maybe he didn't like CMA's discipline, it's a bit of a different approach to the guy who recruited him. 

Kid is obviously dedicated and has grown his game each year.  Good luck to him but would have preferred to see him at UCSD myself, even if they're not fully D1 yet.
