Hopefully they can actually play this one.  Both teams already hit hard by the virus.  Maybe enough players will be cleared by Jan 5 for each squad to have at least 7 scholarship guys to play the game, but the way this has been playing out, I'd have to say I have no clue if that will be the case?

With it going through teams in serial fashion who knows if we play this game.

Plus, the schools require additional cardiac testing in addition to negative covid testing (I think).

Just going by when some players were added to the Covid-19 list, the number of days that have passed should allow at least 5 players to return, including Champ.  I don't know if there are more Covid-19 issues that have not been reported (it wouldn't surprise me if there were) but I would guess there should be at least 7 available for this game.  I guess conditioning could be an issue? We'll see.  Hopefully we can move past this wave, get the team Covid-19 free and get back to a season.  Crazy times.

I wonder if st john's tried to arrange for a quick tune-up game, perhaps tomorrow, to get the team back on the court after this long layoff.  I see other programs have been successful in doing that.

Does anyone have any info on whats going on w/ our team?  Have they been practicing?  Is anyone still being held out cause their sick?

I would love to get an update on what we can expect come Wed night.

Cragg has said that there will be an announcement on Monday.

The first announcement will be whether or not the game will be postponed or not and that won’t come until after this weekend per the NY Post article last week.

Rust or not, no excuses for Johnnies not beating a less than solid DePaul at home.

Really, with the immediate schedule beyond this game, it's as close as you can get to a "must win" for your conference opener.

I wonder if Monte has the line on whether or not the game will be played?

If we lose this game Duke of Earlington definitely going bonkers and transferring his membership to the San Diego Board :)

Is DePaul missing players...? i know they just took a beating to Providence, but Providence is GOOD....

Who is DePaul missing from their 9-1 team? they had a 15 day pause before a 4pt loss to Butler and a trouncing by a top 15 team...

What gives anyone here confidence that we Should* win this game coming off our own 20+ day pause with who knows in game shape....
