Repeating myself, but Pitino was right about shutting down early and assessing feasibility of an open tourney after Covid numbers leveled off enough. This is just not working.

It worked the first month of the season.  We played our first 10 games of the season without a problem.   But we are in the middle of a pandemic, and the belief that we were going to make it an entire season without any issues was based on pure ignorance.  College basketball's program and approach is definitely working though,
