We need to step it up and throttle these guys. Start to reclaim our place.

Has DePaul played a game yet ? And , will they before Jan 2 ? Anyone know why they are having such Trouble keeping their players healthy ? They do have some highly rated players in Weems and Charlie Moore is a pre season all BE pick . Seemingly they have talent and could be trouble , not only for us but , other teams as well .

Hopefully we get a ooc game before DePaul and win that.and get a win there and vs. DePaul. Momentum help with confidence.

What happened to the Georgetown post Game thread?
When is Nyiwe suppose to be able to play
Ask Moose, i think the announcement will be on TV.;)

Actually, they will play 3 games prior to playing us, while we will be off during that timeframe. However, that assumes any of their games will come off.

Did anyone watch DePaul yesterday?  Any scouting report (other than that Charlie Moore is really good, that I know)?

I only saw the first half of the Depaul game but came away thiniking they are definitely better than Gtown and won't be an easy game. They were without Romeo Weems and Jaylen Butz last night (Weems due to Covid protocol and Butz according to announcers was not with team due to non-Covid issue) but still were winning easily while I watched. They have two kids from Canada, one a frosh (Elvis) who looked pretty good and the other a soph center (Ongenda) who blocked 6 shots and ran the floor well.  Maybe RMN can provide some input on those kids. They also have a transfer from Valparaiso (Freeman-Liberty) who was pretty impressive. And of course they have Moore as a very good experienced point guard.

That's a good summary.  I also watched the game and was impressed by serval new players (especially Freeman-Liberty).  They will not be easy.  Leitao has his limitations, but he certainly has more to work with.

Any the two transfers from Nassau County Long whose names were floated this off-season with St. John's too.

Ray Salnave - started, 31 min, 4 pt, 6 reb, 3 ast

Pauly Paulicap - 17 min, 5 pt, 6 reb

they should be  bit run down by the time we get to face them...post covid...and 3 games in 6 days us being the 4th...we should have them on tired legs. No excuses get the W

Ray Salnave's stats are exactly what I thought they would be at this level, exceptionally mediocre. Thank g d we did not take him. Would rather go with freshman Wusu or Dunn any day of the week. He would have only created a log jam where none needed to exist.

He played  one game.  Give him time.

DePaul always has some decent talent and they're better than last year.  Javon Freeman-Liberty is real good.   They have depth and experience.   While they're still in the bottom 4 tier of the BE along with gtown, butler and sju, they're not necessarily destined for last place.

I wonder how and where the coaches and players get to vent - they must be as frustrated as we fans. And we are. adults. The polayers are kids.
Blessings to all!
