Hearing Soriano out with knee problem
This is concerning, meaning extending minutes for Nywie. Hope he stays on the blocks on both ends instead of floating on the perimeter.

Terrible news. So we go from two Creighton starters being doubtful to both likely playing and our best big man being out in a must game for us.  I thought Soriano would play a key role in tonight's game; we are cursed for sure ....

Oh my God… it’s 10 mins before tip… and the crowd is sad… hope people are just in traffic… hopefully the white shirts make it look like people are here

I took Creighton +5 for $500 hedging against the pain of being a diehard Johnnie's fan, still want us to win but we've been down this road before.....go Johnnie's

St. John's starters: Champagnie, Mathis, Alexander, Wheeler and Nyiwe for the injured Soriano. Alex O'Connell starts for Creighton, but not Arthur Kaluma. He is available.

We are so snakebit!  Never a dull moment.  Let's see who steps up to make for the loss.  It's a shame, because he has really been coming around.

On his pre-game show just now, #Jays head coach Greg McDermott tells @JohnBishop71 that senior guard Alex O'Connell (ankle) is 50/50 but is starting at St. John's. Freshman wing Arthur Kaluma (knee) is in uniform and available off the bench but will be on a minutes restriction.

very on brand for us to have the reportedly  injured guys on the other team play while we have a completely unexpected key guy out at the last moment.
