*Sorry for the amount of posts. Apparently there is a link limit per post, so I apologize for those waking up to this thread blowing up like we landed someone.
Apology accepted ;)
Not so sure about that. (Just woke up and ...) :(
WOW!!! Have these guys expressed any interest in transferring? Thanks for doing a ton of research so that the nonbelievers would believe there is hope.
I suspect most of them have not publicly expressed interest, and 99 percent may stay put. But I also suspect that if Matt is working on someone now, it's a kid who hasn't said anything yet.

I’m in luv with Jordan Caroline.
That's unfortunately filed under "unrealistic," but man would that be amazing.

There are a lot of kids who could fit nicely. I'm praying something happens.

Yes it is, but Nevada has apparently not left any space if even one of their three declarees decide to return from the draft, Caroline and Martin twins. But I'm sure they'd figure out a way to make room.

That said I'll settle for Ethan Happ, though Adonis de la Rosa would be pretty freaking funny.

I'm definitely hoping someone like him or Reid Travis has a girlfriend moving to New York for a job and they decide to drop in for a year.

Per Rothstein: "Christian Mekowulu tells me he is withdrawing from the 2018 NBA Draft, but will not return to Tennessee State. Will instead be a grad transfer. Immediately eligible."

6'9", 245 pounds from Nigeria. Averaged 13 and 8 this year. I don't care what is required - lie to him and tell him we're changing to a big man focused offense, deliver him a dump truck full of Nigerian cash, I honestly don't care, just get him here.

Just tell him he'd be our starter at center, because he definitely would.

Given the exchange rate, they should just buy him a Big Gulp.

No good basketball players ever came from Nigeria anyway.

LJSA, should we be reading 'tea leaves' about your remark?!?
Here's hoping.

I wish I could say yes.

It appears a guy on fence to go grad route & fill the bill may have had second thoughts. UMass guy out &,if this player stays where he is, I wonder if there are really other realistic options.

Of course there is a “list” but there are often reasons why either side may not be interested. For one, a player’s advisor may have desires the team can’t meet. I can relate to frustration, but it is what it is.

Matt being a transfer guy could surprise with something different & helpful, but not necessarily the big. Just my thoughts & hope he does get a big to help immediately.
