Interesting couple of weeks coming up.  Should be the favorite in the next 4 games.  I'm wondering if they win 4 of the next 5 and win 2 games in the BE tournament would that be enough.
Depends on who the matchups are against, in the Big East Tournament.

If a 4-1 finish gets us 6th in the Big East, that means Georgetown in round 1 (they're a pretty safe bet to finish last), which won't do us too much good.  Would probably need one more on top of your number.

Soriano is turning into a bully. Love his toughness. Early on we criticized him for being a little soft. He’s really improved during the season. If he stays out of foul trouble we are a much better team

Have you noticed Soriano wins nearly every opening tip?  I feel like until this year, we hadn’t won an opening tip since the Mahoney era

You would like to think so but we’ve put ourselves behind the 8 ball. I still think we might need to win the Big East Tournament. The good news is that if we keep playing as well as tonight we have a chance.

Keeping my expectations tempered.  There’s not a team in the league we can’t beat and save for GTown, there’s not a team that can’t beat us on any given night.  Nova would be the one team I wouldn’t want to play in the BE tournament early

I’d like to play either UConn or Providence in a meaningful game in the BE Tournament.  I have a feeling we would beat them if we got a third crack.

First time all year we had the pieces we expected  with the Julian/Posh we expected?

Mathis solid all around as well. Overlooked game by him

I thought everybody who played contributed.

The key though, was Julian scoring 8 points right off the bat (first 5 minutes, or so).  That opened things up for everybody else.

This is one of those games where you go what if, especially either UConn game, the SH game or either Providence game and we’d be in so much better shape. Where was some of this finishing we got tonight?

Nothing you can do about that now. I happened to be able to watch the last 8 minutes so I got to see the best part. Bottle this and finish the season like this. It’s possible.

Best game of the year for this team.  Champy was back.  Coburn's 3 point shooting was huge for us.  Posh looked good.  Wheeler played well.  This is the team that was picked to finish 4th in the big east.

But where the heck has this been all year?  You cant wait to mid February to start playing well.

It might be too little to late but this team is tough in Carnessecca.  I think we are winning the next 2.
