Missed Layups. 7/13 from the line including Champ missing the front end of a 1 and 1 in a huge spot. Going on a run to go up 7 just to follow that up with letting them go on an 11-0 run.

Infuriating team.

Wusu had a nice first half and Mathis a nice 2nd half.  But you need more then 1 player playing well to beat a team like Uconn

And people saying Champy doesnt want the ball.  Its not that he doesnt want it.  He cant get a shot off when he is guarded.  He has no ability to create space or blow by his guy.

Bad teams always find a way to lose. Today was no different.

Tough game, kids have it their all, that’s it

you hold Sonogo to eight points, six rebounds you usually win. UConn role players Whaley & Martin got it done & UConn D is very good

Holy mother of God, this team constantly comes up with absolutely the worst plays in the final possession.

Yes we failed to close when we got up 7 but once again UCONN the benefit of a bad call at the end. Mathis did not foul Cole should have been our ball for a basket underneath; Lav called it out. Terrible.

We miss so many good looks. Dunks, Layups, Jumpers, free throws it doesn’t matter. Coaching absolutely did not lose us this game.

13-49 from the Champ, wheeler, Smith, and coburn. 7-13 from the line.

Hopefully no excuses from the Anderson lovers that we would have won with Posh.

We turned them over enough and kept out turnovers low.

Think Mean Gene says it best...give me a team who can put the ball in the hole. You only get points for scoring.

champ will go down as a player who had one great season.

Please don't associate our Holy Mother with this debacle. /media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png

keep chucking up shots they will go in from time to time. Look at his overall stats and see if the double double actually matters.

It’s the same thing every game. The bottom line is , if you can’t shoot the ball with some type of consistency you can’t win. We have no real shooters. If we had one bonafide knock down shooter on this team we would have won  3 or 4 more games this season. Martin and Cole can shoot it both from the field and from the line, that was the difference today.

I can’t wait for this F—king season to end!!!!!
Regular season, yes because it means nothing.  But I will get excited again come Big East tourney time.  We need to get everyone healthy and pull a Georgetown.
