(POST-GAME) @Indiana, Wed., Nov. 17, 9p, FS-1

we battled back but I’m still pissed. Champ had an all time second half good to see Stef have. Good game Pinzon definitely our backup pg. And we covered the spread  Not much else I want to say

If you watch the reply, Posh really made no attempt to get the ball.  It was always going to be inbounded to Pinzon.

What an awful call.  You dont give it to a freshman in that situation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big up to the team to fight back. Champ was great. Smith kept us in this. Soriano has some work to do. Wusu stepped up on TJD. We have positives to take away. The slow start just killed us

Did they deny Posh on the last possession and pinzon had to bail him out?
No.  He barely made an attempt to get the ball.  It was a designed inbound to get the ball to Pinzon.  Just awful coaching.

Listen, we lost with an abysmal first half, both it. We did in the second.  That wasn’t Pinzon’s fault.  I think it was Champs that actually bobbled and they didn’t want to go to Posh as he was expected to get it.

I know that we were riding the hot hand with Champ…but Pinzon was wide open in the corner.
it’s not just riding the hot hand. It’s riding our one NBA level player lol

Champ had Wusu wide open for a 3 on the other side but cant blame him for taking it himself there.
Did seem odd not to have Posh bring the ball up.
Very tough loss but man they fought hard. Great 2nd half by Stef Smith, seems like coach didn't trust Coburn in 2nd half.

The pass was thrown at his feet.

That first half was an abomination.

one of the worst halves I’ve seen in a long time.

no reason to be in the hole.

Truth is Posh AND Stef Smith should’ve had the ball there before Pinzon. Smith was fantastic that entire second half and is an experienced college guard. I would’ve preferred he had it over Pinzon and Posh if I’m being honest

The good:
1. We are legit. Julian is an AA.
2. The first half today will be the worst we play all season.
3. The boys showed they can play in a tough road environment.

The bad:
1. Another moral victory?
2. We need more offense from Posh if we want to challenge the heavyweights.
3. Winning against Kansas has now become more important. Wish we were playing the game at MSG.

Pinzon played well, but he should not have had the ball in his hands on that last play. No way, no how. Not when we have the best PG in the Big East on the court

It does but it was an away game and the bad call on Mathis ,,! The way it finished you have to think if it was a home games and we would have shoot just a little better in the 1st  half we win so think many would think we are a better team
givqe them credit to come back from a terrible 1/2 we didn’t lose anything by this away loss
