Me thinks #22 based on the AP voters who opined on our win against Marquette and Rothstein sitting courtside for this one.

Figgy will be Mr. March I feel. I forgive the basketball gods for Keith Thomas, Sanchez and many others for delivering this kid.

This game was eerily playing out like last year. SJU rallied in last minute last year to force OT. Ahmed hits big 3 in OT to give them 2 possession lead. And they ended up blowing it.

Thank God different outcome this year.

Free throw shooting starting to piss me off, cost them SHU game even with ref screwup and let Gtown stay in this in OT.

I thought my dog Shea was going to pee in the house with all the yelling and no bathroom break. Ponds was Ponds, but love the total team effort. Both teams are quality college teams. Fun and maddening game. Great win!

It wasn’t our cleanest game but we adjusted well. Didn’t get everybody playing well, but who cares. Big gut-check win here. Georgetown’s size bothered us but we changed thing up a bit.

Keita was a big, big help. He’s a very athletic 6’9” guy who bodies well. He needs time to get the rust out but defensively was a big help.

We showed that we are resilient and can come back, even on the road.

On to Nova who has nowhere near the talented size that Georgetown has. I think they’re in trouble as well. Great win!

Should be15-0[/quote]

and in the Top 15. This team is much better than given credit for by the scribes and we're just going to get better.

All this was taking place while Yukon, the downtrodden program playing in the can anyone hear us AAC, lost to UCF (University of Central Florida in case you didn't recognize them as having played basketball), for the FIRST time in Program history AT HOME.
Precious take note.

One important takeaway from this win that will probably get overlooked is the key contributions we got from both Trimble and Williams. In the wake of Dixon's transfer, it can't be understated how important these two are. The foul trouble and overtime was perhaps a blessing in disguise because they both got a lot of valuable minutes as a result.

This game showed that we actually have depth that can play and has to play. High scoring OT game with 2-3 guys fouled out still won. Keita, Trimble and Williams very important to this team’s ability to go the distance. Dare I say Roberts should also start getting some limited minutes as he’s another bigger kid who can defend and rebound with athleticism. Raw or not, spot minutes won’t hurt.
