Brutal loss.  Surprising?  No.

Something is broken with this team.  Kids didnt seem very interested in playing today.  No sense of urgency.

Posh getting benched again is very strange.  Something is going on behind closed doors.  Hopefully someone can uncover what it is and let us fans know.
 
Im not sure Anderson should return.   It’s not going to end well, so better now than wait. 

To me, it seemed the kids mailed it in and did not give the effort you need.   

Champs flurry was a mirage.  He did nothing when it counted early and late. 
 
Embarrassing performance. Formula for beating DePaul is simple, play defense and they will eventually implode.  SJ plays with no sense of urgency and showed no desire to play half court defense. It’s almost as if they think being within 5 feet of your man is good defense. I’ve never seen anyone who goes for shot fakes as much as Champagnie. He routinely is the root cause of our defensive lapses. And, his lackadaisical passing and forced shots when we still had a shot with  under a minute to go were killer decisions.

uninspired effort for a team that should be playing like junk yard dogs.

All part of the plan. Working on things during this obvious exhibition season, before the real season starts. 

Can’t give away too much because this team will make run in the BE tournament (sorry Paultzman).


 
 
Well at least we won't be able to change St John's  nickname to the Bottom Feeders as this no longer applies. I guess they didn't want to refuse an invitation to the NIT.

Sorry, gents, highly unlikely to happen.  Let’s hope that Anderson keeps the core of the team next year and we land some real impact transfers.  Let’s then root like heck for us to overachieve next year.  I for one am not ready for another rebuild.

I have been a CMA supporter up to now, but imho there are serious concerns at this point. Not only did team disappoint this year, but substitution patterns and interest of key players is very questionable. I'm not sure which of my two favorite basketball teams I feel better about at this point, but leaning towards the Knicks which is pretty telling.
