I am so glad I went to sleep at halftime; I left and we were up by 8, then I turned it over to Maher and he effed it up and we lost. What's up with that, Mike?

Seriously, gut punch loss and I wish we didn't have to wait a week to get the bad taste out of our mouth.

On the other hand, they have a week to work on in-bounding the ball.

No joke, I get where BJRM is coming from. 9 o'clock starts with an overtime added on are pretty close to past my bedtime. Plus when a SJU game ends at 11:30 I'm too wired to go to sleep for at least another half hour and midnight is definitely past my bedtime and has been for a good 20 years.

I hated the 9 PM garden games, which were almost all on weeknights.  My train home was either 9:42 or 10:42 out of Penn, and that was too late.   On occasion the 10::42 was a tight squeeze.    As it is, watching on TV during Covid, I set the DVR because I crash early.     I'd like to say it was age, but my long term friends remind me that I'd fall sleep even at rock concerts when I was in college.     A dear friend of mine reminds me that when I was at SJU and would stop by to pick him up to go out somewhere, if he wasn't ready, I'd always fall asleep in his living room chair, even with his mom trying to chat me.

/media/kunena/emoticons/smile.pngThanks for backing me up here, NC Johnnie, except a big exception was that Nova game, I stayed up till the end, watched all of the Postgame then jumped on here for another hour, Maher will attest to that. (no Mass that next next morning for me)./media/kunena/emoticons/ermm.png

As your lawyer, my professional opinion is that if Maher is your star witness ... you're screwed.

Thanks, lawmanfan, as one also, I think Maher would be one of those witnesses who says to you: "so, what do you want me to say, just tell me what to say and I'll say it."

Mike is a perfect witness /media/kunena/emoticons/cool.png

he'd be too busy eating lobster rolls and chugging IPAs to bother with any of this court stuff.
