Hopefully everyone understood a week or so ago that StJohns was not headed to the NCAA this season.
 
Right now, goal should be getting out of the BE cellar AND MAYBE WINNING A GAME..Dartmouth doesn't count. SORRY.

Barring a miracle, the NIT is not now reachable and embarrassing to play in that losers tournament CBI.
 
Im glad you posted this. I guess there still is hope, I have kind of forgotten that you can get in the tourney by winning the BE tourney. With our last 15 years and all.
 
Time to root for the ladies, they are 4-1 in conf play and 11-5 overall. A single ray of light in an otherwise dismal season.
 
I don't know who they're beating at this point. They've been outcoached in every game but Fordham this season.

I thought this was a 21-23 win team going into the season, but now I'm not sure they'll break .500.

They make this game seem very difficult.
 
At this point, there can be no discussion of anything. It's one thing to draw Syracuse and Wisconsin in the preseason - two tough teams for anyone. It's another to lose a tough OT game to Penn State in the early going. Then there's a tough way to start the Big East season 3 of 4 on the road, and the home game against the likely best team in the big east. But this was where they had to turn it around, not only for their record, but to actually win a winnable game, at home - their REAL home, in front of a decent crowd that made some noise. If you don't win a game like this, you don't belong anywhere but at the bottom rungs of the conference.

On a different team, with a different coach, he'd be a serviceable ballplayer. On this team he's just another kid who gets on the court and does what he wants.

IMO, there are a couple of other reasons you should be done that sits higher on the totem pole than that one.

Haha very true even a blind squirrel finds a nut. I sew him with moose when his hs played in queens. I can't ind my review and would be curious what I wrote. I remember having issues with the fact that he kept trying to bring the ball up he court.

I get the feeling that Dom is not a fan of body contact and physical play, something required in order to rebound. He has lost it twice when things got a little physical, at ND last year and again at Depaul. Although he threw a head butt at Cotton that would have made Bobo Brazil proud.

If you are looking for rebounding, you will be sorely disappointed if you think CJ is the answer.
