Pace Exhibition

Building more tv fans. Home court advantage doesn't mean fans cheering at home.

For fun i did a google maps from atlantic city to CA. Right now under 3 hours.

Its under 2 hours from delaware water gap to ca right now.

6 hours driving back and forth to an exhibition game where we'll beat D2 Pace by 50 doesn't sound very fun to me. I'd wager the vast majority of fans in that scenario would rather just stream it, and very few (if any) would make the trip. The closer locations you mentioned are somewhat reasonable (personally I wouldn't especially with my 10 month old), but we have fans all over the continent.

It'll be interesting to see how attendance is for this, but I doubt forcing fans to go to exhibition games will help at all during the regular season. I still maintain that had the Rutgers game been on TV/streaming that would've increased excitement and potentially boosted early attendance when it actually matters (regular season). We'd also have proper highlights which would've gained some nice traction on social media, far better marketing than most of what St. John's marketing team has done. The 3K fans who showed up were always going to go to games.

I appreciate that you're a great fan and also with a 10 month old an afternoon out is doing a diaper run to cvs or walmart. Your kid will be 5 or 6 before you know it and you'll have a game buddy to bring to games.

The issue really isn't whether exhibition games should be o. Tv or not but the fact that some fans are demanding they be televising them, going so far as calling sju a "mom and pop" outfit for not dping so. Mind you, some of them haven't been to 20 games in 10 years and that's generous.

When your 10 month old is 5, hope it grows out of whining when he or c she doesn't get their way. 😀

Another veiled shot at me, my last word to you, period, on any subject. Where you get the cajones to try to tell other people how to live their lives and spend their money is beyond me. Cragg is wrong and all your silly changing of arguments as to why he chose “mom and pop” and providing driving directions doesn’t change that one bit.

First media timeout, Pace 8-5, 15:43 1st
