Well, the players definitely know they need to keep working and playing hard because no one is going to lay down and bow in front of you because you are coached by Rick Pitino.

Maybe it will also temper some very high expectations by fans that there is still a lot of hard work and familiarization that needs to be done and not expect us to turn the world on fire from the start.

I think Jenkins and Soriano, from what I've seen (can't speak for the guys who have been out), are the two most indispensable players we have. I don't see a "next man up" if either one of those guys are out for any length of time.
