Once inside you better have ear plugs, No seat will be available, they'll allow lots of fans to sit on the stairs, the crowd will be so juiced they'll be chanting RICKY RICKY RICKYRICKY RICKY RICKY, after 20 minutes Ricky will be gesturing with his arms for everyone to calm down and take a seat.
At that point everyone in the arena will bum rush the court and pick him up and throw him up in the air, and others will catch him, and they'll throw him up ect, while yelling hip hip hooray!!!!!!!!!!!
Rick will just give up, put his hand to his face and wonder: "What the hell did I get myself into with these crazy New Yorkers."
It's all about Rick.Interesting. You could be right I guess will get there early now
I think they expect a big crowd but not a sell outAny idea how many people they’re expecting? Want to take my kids if the timing lines up. I would hate to get there and get shut out

Don’t know, maybe some rules against streaming a practice. Will the Open Practice be streamed ?
They all will be getting after it on defense. Rick made it clear that if you don’t bring the defense for him you ride the pine. The days of our opponents getting 25 open looks from 3 point land a game (also known as Street Fighting mode) are over.Looking forward to the updates. I’d like to hear about who is getting after it most on defense.

For the past few years I was very nonchalant about opportunities to attend practice.
I attended one last year at Tafner and barely paid attention. My dear friend Panther was also there and just about the entire team knew who he is. If he didn't kmow a damned thing about basketball (and he knows as much as anyone) he would still be a special person to be around our program.
I am so excited to go to this practice tomorrow. It's an opportunity to see a genius in his laboratory, as Looie liked to call practice.
As far as CRP publicly being critical of players in general and specifically on Thursday night, I was watching by new friend Chris Ledlum's reaction when Coach spoke. He listened intently with his head down, continually nodded his head in agreement and smiled softly at getting critically skewered by Coach.
The older players definitely understand and get Rick's style and are loving the opportunity to improve under a master teacher. They all have great respect to a HOFer identifying what they are deficient at and are eager to improve.
This attitude of players is a breath of fresh air from the last few years from some kids who thought they had already "arrived" and didn't have to listen to or respect the coaching staff.
I asked Chris a question that had his response had been different would not repeat here. I asked, "You don't have to answer this, but is Coach Pitino really THAT good as a teacher?"
Chris pausec and said in a really honest tone, "You know, he sees things that other coaches just don't see, and works with you individually to improve and correct it."
I then shared some things that happened with last year's team, the egregious things. He knows all of the local metro area guys we had, and without defending them offered some intelligent insights. He's an incredible kid, a very mature graduate who without a doubt will be a gigantic force off and on the court. No doubt will be a leader.
I think judging by what others have said about players they have met that this team has an entire roster of hand selected kids for their talent and quality as human beings.
If you haven't watched it check out the YouTube video of Soriano taking new players on a subway tour of NYC. Really great stuff and really funny. Soriano taking role of captain like a big brother to his younger teammates.
Hoping for a huge crowd Sunday. Just feeks important to be there
I would love to hear his insights on the prior years players, however, I completely understand if you aren't comfortable sharing those. For the past few years I was very nonchalant about opportunities to attend practice.

You know, through the years, it's been similar responses at pre-game workouts and pre leagueFor the past few years I was very nonchalant about opportunities to attend practice.
