NYC Crime Rate

Speaking of DA’s, in Nassau Co., the run for District Attorney, Legislator Todd Kaminsky, an author of the No Bail law is running against a 30-year prosecutor.  This will be an interesting race to watch.

Many New York State Mental Hospitals were shut down decades ago .  Their Skeletons of buildings lay in absolute ruins . Not even torn down to make the state land somewhat useful .  NY did have a State Hospital for the Criminally Insane up in Beacon, NY off Rt 84 .  Where do you put those whose Mental Illness causes them to commit Crimes ?  Many should never be released into the Community ! But , they should not be subject to inhumane treatment or left to flounder in squalor, while incarcerated . Problem is , who is going to do that Work ? It’s dangerous and usually doesn’t pay well . Unless you make them Correction Officers and pay them properly .  The No Bail policy is total disaster and the Politicians who espouse it , should be voted out of , or never into office !  It’s not working !    Politicians aren’t the proper People to make Mental Health policy ! The bottom line is you can’t leave dangerous and mentally ill people loose on the Public at large .

Nassau is a funny place when it comes to politics. I'll leave it at that. lol. You may know this about Kaminsky already, but he's Mel Brook's great nephew.

Have no fear Mayor de Blasio has got this covered. Just go to a shooting gallery a safe injection site. Problem solved.

I don't want to turn this in to a political conversation but I'll just say this; the new administration can't take over soon enough.

Another Columbia student slain, this time randomly. I'm sure the usual bleeding hearts will be out in full force saying "let's not rush to judgement", blah blah blah. And that includes members of the Columbia administration. This poor young man was here from Italy getting his PHD, only to have his life snuffed out by an animal. These foreigners have no clue as to the dangers of NYC. When is enough, enough?

Guess they figure that NYC has millions of people and they can afford to lose a few thousand per year to playful violence as long as it's not them of course.

If the elected officials(AOC for example( had to live the way average New Yorkers have to live, and had to face the same dangers, they wouldn't be coddling criminals the way they've been doing. Whether it's that poor guy who was stabbed to death while sleeping on the subway last week, this young man from Italy, or any other innocent victims of violent crime, my heart goes out to them and their families. They deserved much better from our elected officials, most of whom have blood on their hands....and lots of it

When I was 7 chicken pox blighted the second grade.  Me and my friends looted a candy store.

Unfortunately all I got was 2 packs of sen sen, wax lips, and a spanking.
She's either completely clueless or completely full of s_ _ t. Either is not good. Yeah, did my share of bad stuff as a kid too. Never claimed that I was a angel lol

Senior media executives have the same blood, too. The heads of Viacom/CBS, General Electric {NBC}, Disney, Google, Facebook, etc...are all guilty of promoting these same politicians and destroying anyone who doesn't fall in line with the narrative.

Were you guys in the same street gang together? The Red Hoods or something? Or the Red Riding Hoods? Or the Little Red Riding Hoods? /media/kunena/emoticons/grin.png

The increase in crime is due to one person, still at large - a young man in a hoodie.   If you see him ease call 911 or crimestoppers.   All calls remain confidential.
