Think we have to start questioning coaches recruits
What recruits? Did we sign someone?
Nova is going to the NCAA's Johnnie's are going to Europe.
They will be there, but I do not think the Big East will fare well in the tournament.
Of course, there will be a team or two from the conference that will do well. But I'm talking about from an overall perspective. I think 'Nova will be one of those teams who doesn't fare well.
Possibly but it's hard to tell. It is such a crap shoot. Match ups are key. Interesting note about the C7
is they won 14 of first 16 championships but only 2 since then as they always chinced on the money and lost the good coaches. Like all sports you must spend freely to compete. These new teams coming in may
take the extra money, spend it and do what the original non C7 teams did which is dominate the league.
St.John's looks like an AAU team with good athletes but no sense of team work or continuity.

Very disappointing season. Branch is a fraction of the player we all hoped he would be. It's amazing he was ranked so high since he can't shoot well, has average athleticism, and is a combo guard. He turns the ball over way too much.
The point guard position is very important, but there were more issues (ie, lack of shooters and no inside guy to count on).

Is it just a coincidence that Pointer, Garrett and Branch were ranked so high and have done little? Where is the player development?

And no reason to think they are going away.
We have the BE rookie of the year. We have a team that is maturing together. Fix the turn overs in this game And have 25% of your practices on the FT line, then we win this one (and the Marquette game). The team melds to Branch's point and we get better.
In my opinion, we are not going to lose anyone. No player wants to lose a season transferring. Our sophomores don't want to lose a season, the jucos do t gave a season to lose, and jakar is looking to make the NBA jump next year so no transfer.

Sanchez better be the next cooking of Lebron James. This team needs allot of help.
One will be surprised how one can look after a season under the belt and offseason workouts. I don't ever believe Pointer nor Garrett will ever be good shooters, but they can improve. Actually, Pointer did improve his shooting a bit (I think he can be a decent shooter). Obekpa also improved, as well. Maybe, he also adds something in the offseason.
Maybe, next season Sampson can add some range on his shot next season, as well. He can already hit it from 15'-17'. Adding guys like Sanchez and, hopefully, Harrison will pay off. They'll bring a skill set to the team. We still could end up getting a 5th-year guy in Gift.

They wont lose because they didn't feel like playin. Steve needs some players he can put in when our regular rotation ain't in the mood. We don't have any coming so I hope Sanchez and Hopper like time. Why they would come out at MSG and just look at one another I can't figure. Steve knows his stuff, I figure he knows what he has to do. He can't invent a starting PG and Branch real soft. I don't know what he can do about that. Three guard offense silly when you don't have three who can play. Front court should be better next year. I'm pissed, I haven't written any shit like this all season.
