Any chance the guy(s) can make it up through summer courses/prep work?
 
As long as he's a partial qualifier and eligible to play in 2016, I'm fine with that.

Would be nice if you broke some positive news every so often :)

From my understanding he's in deep water at this moment. Judging from his academic past it will be tough.
 
This is disappointing. We have very little to play the point.

Disappointing, but seemed almost bound to happen with having to build an entire team in a few months. Agree, still like to see him eligible as a partial qualifier and on board in 16'.

Me too, was really looking forward to him growing on this team. In a year or two he would or hopefully will be a dominate force. This program needs to catch a break.

yes disappointing but still promising and doable! Our future is bright and Chris' very first year should be exciting no matter our final record!! So many positives thus far and relatively few setbacks IMHO.

I read this last night and pretended it didn't happen in order to catch some sleep. Hoping for the best. Mr. Google, you hinted at ML not being "the only one." Who is joining this young man in timeout for the 15-16 season?

In my mind he has always been a risk academically re: transcript.Won't be surprised if he does not qualify. We'll see. Not to be negative, but I worry about Sima as well.

Yes but perhaps I do try to temper and balance my positive spin with "reality" -
1.it is disappointing for sure
2.but the future is bright and there has been considerably more excitement than detraction since March;
3.W-L record will be what it will be and still
4.most of us eagerly await to see the new players; how the coaching operates; the ongoing recruiting for 2016;

My take - if a fan/poster cannot enjoy this dawning new epoch (after you know years of mostly disillusion )
Why then when can a SJU fan rejoice???
Great times. I'm so very pleased. There will be bumps, losses, lost recruits...but a lot of good!

"Relatively few setbacks?" In the last two months we've lost Sampson, Jordan and obekpa. We now find out Lovett is likely ineligible and possibly sima.

Short of having half the team suspended for sneaking out to a strip club and having sex with a prostitute, I'm not sure how mullin could be off to a worse start!

Frankly I'm fed up with Mullin.
We made a big mistake hiring him
