NJIT Game

I'll be in the house, and I looked at their schedule and who they played -- will be a tougher game than we think. Go Johnnies!

Tougher in what way? We win this game by 25+.

Easy guy, they lost to Prov by 1 on the road-- they may not be too bad. That being said I'd love to see a 25 point win.

Game on ESPN3 at 1 PM...if you think this game will be tough then that means we aren't good yet. After crushing an SEC team, hanging with Baylor and Murray state, and beating Detroit and Charleston, this should be a candidate for biggest blowout all year. I know they almost beat Providence, but they are not nearly as talented. If we can dominate the boards tonight I don't see why we can't get an easy 20+ laugher. If we get dominated on the boards it might be too close for comfort.

Prediction: SJ 76 NJIT 62

I just asked a rhetorical question, and made a statement. Yes, I know they lost to Providence by 1. But, I still believe we'll use them to wax Carnesecca Arena.

I'd like to see Sampson let loose and go for 25 points today.

The floor could use a good wax job!!

Sampson has already shown he can get 20...25 is not out of the realm on a hot day. He can do that on a game where there are lots of fast break dunks for him.

We are not good yet. We are talented and athletic, but young and error prone. No true PG, and rebounding issues. Three point shooting could be a lot better. This team is still one of potential. When you beat a few ranked teams, and can win on the road, then you are good. Right now, still a work in progress with much upside.

I think we win by 20 and the walk on's get some PT. BTW NJIT is in the Great West Conf. which makes about as much sense as San Diego St in the Big East, but I guess its the price they had to pay to get D1 basketball. Also to note they play 4 Big East Schools this season; Prov, SJU, SHU, and Nova

Enjoy the game boys, heading to Queens!

I'm indoctrinating my four year old nephew. This is his second game he is going to this year.. You gotta start them early!

At the game with my seven year old son. Should be fun.

Not sure if this is any indication of how the game goes, but even Rumble in the Garden is predicting a 20 pt blowout and they usually give the opponents too much credit IMO.

If you're wondering why the student sections are empty, it's bc somebody in Redzone thought it would be a good idea to do a women's trip.
