Niagara, Wed. Dec. 9, 5pm, FS1 & 970AM

They are 3-6 after losing to Monmouth (that team again) earlier today.

#2 and #13 are their top scorers.

Their coaching staff has some SJU connections. Obviously, head coach Chris Casey was DOBO, and later full assistant coach, under Norm Roberts. One of his assistants is Will Lanier, who was there at the same time as a grad assistant, then later video coordinator. Another assistant is Kareem Brown, who was a freshman football player the final year that St. John's fielded a team. He is a double graduate of SJU (bachelor's and master's).

FWIW The person who told me after the Williams injury that it was a tweak is now telling me it could be a little while and that of him and Ellison it looks like Ellison would be back first and he isn't sure if when that will be either.

Will we see the return of our three point shooting?

During the past two games the johnnies averaged 11 attempts after averaging 19 plus over the first six games.

Rico shot 1 for 10 the past two games. He must be looking forward to CA.

probably because in Carnesseca it's so easy to WARM up. Literally

Free ticket to today's game. Email me if interested: Montal79@aol.com.

I'm sure it was mentioned somewhere , but I missed it- Why are they starting a game on a Wednesday at 5pm?

I would guess finals? just a guess to try to get more kids to attend before the commuter kids go home for the day.

Are the networks not the reason for any inconvenient start times in college hoops or football?

If 9 AM games filled empty air time we'd be playing in them.

TV is the reason. FS1 has a Providence game at 7PM.
Guess that makes us the JV game. Personally I don't mind as it just means I get home early and can watch other games like Dayton vs Vanderbilt.
