I can tolerate any respectful position on this coach, so long as it's not repeated 50 times a day, which it is.
I can tolerate people believing they are fans also while in the process of clamoring for a new coach. It's totally your opinion and right to express it.
I also can't understand perpetuating this discussion in the midst of a run that could earn us our first NCAA bid in 4 years. Basically it says that the fire Lavin guys really aren't happy with us being on the cusp of a bid. It can wait till the offseason, no?
What I can't tolerate is grown men attending our most important game of the season and of the previous four, and booing the head coach in pre game introductions. It would piss me off enough if they were Georgetown fans, but i'd really be tempted to put my foot in the back of both of them. Yea, yea, I know it's your legal right once you buy a ticket, but if I ran the ticket office and had any say, the next seat you bought from me would be in the nosebleeds, even if the 100's were empty.
While we are at it, one of the parties who identified themselves as booing worked the room at Carnesecca's bday bash, and took the title "birthday bash" a little too seriously as he bashed Lavin to anyone who would listen.
That being said, I'm not trying to attack Avon, who I know is a passionate fan, but the behavior just drives me nuts.
I just don't get it.
