It's pretty obvious that we need all the key guys playing, to be successful. The only two games where we had our full team were against Merrimack and DePaul, and those were probably our two best performances (turnovers aside, we played well against Merrimack).

Obviously, some are more important than others, but we seem to lose something if any 1 of our top 8 or 9 guys are out.

I do feel like Mathis is the difference between this being a 3 point half-time lead instead of an 7 or 8 half time lead. He would have at least 5 or 6 points by now, he's the one guy that rarely misses his layups and been consistent with making an open 3 pointer.

I've stated as much a week ago and before the start of this season. Frankly, if we make the tournament as an 8, 9, or 10 seed and immediately eliminated; I'd still move on.
MJ, I hear you, but if we make the Dance (not via play-in game) I'd consider that an OK year and stay the course. But anything less I think we need a change as much as I hate to say that.

Unfortunately I think even if we don’t make the tournament there’s at least a 50-50 chance he returns. But if we make the tournament — and I don’t think we will — I’d keep him unless we were prepared to hire Pitino or an absolute stud coach

We miss Mathis in this game. He is under appreciated something I never would have said last year. He has worked on his game and while far from a superstar a mature player and calming influence.

I was waiting for someone to bring up Mathis. Making Plays, I hear you and don’t entirely disagree. But damn, Mathis is a role player and we should be up by 20 on this squad with our second team!

The problem with Posh is that he’s playing out of position and is essentially playing the two where’s he’s relied on to shoot and d up bigger guards. Even players on New Hampshire are backing him down under the basket. The Posh Curbelo combo is not working.

Tried the online stream and couldn't get it to work. There are no sports bars on Longboat Key and I couldn't go anyway. I just found out this morning that I have Covid.
Ugh.... I'm wishing you a swift recovery. Find a sports website and follow the game via realtime updates.

New Hampshire really starting to believe they can pull this one out. You can feel it in their energy.

Starting to enter danger zone here

Maybe Boo should be the coach?
