Our starting guards are 1-9 with 1 assist in the first half. I am starting to become pretty pessimistic about this season. No excuses, NCAA or bust.
I've stated as much a week ago and before the start of this season. Frankly, if we make the tournament as an 8, 9, or 10 seed and immediately eliminated; I'd still move on.

Man that was an ugly half of basketball. I don't think I ever seen a situation where everybody on the team confidence in shooting is gone. Every time there's an open 3 now, no matter who it is, they hesitate then miss it, if you're not going to shoot it with confidence don't shoot it. David Jones has hesitated at least 3 times, Curberlo at least twice. It's a simple as getting in the gym practice, then get in the game and shoot with confidence, you can't be a guard in a high major conference and scared to shoot the ball.

Also, what's up with all the missed layups... they are playing nervous out there against New Hampshire. Only positive about this game is the defense has been great, they are flying all over the place, getting deflections, blocking shots, that's how 40 minutes of hell defense is suppose to look, but they are suppose to score on the other end.

We are not going to any post season tournaments unless we start shooting the basketball better. Posh has to at least be proficient, Pinzon and Storr have to continue to develop, Wusu needs to find his confidence again and Mathis has to continue to play the way he has so far this season. If all these things don’t happen we will finish 8th in this conference. Say that’s being harsh but it’s actually the harsh reality.

Yeah, tough to watch. Hopefully they come out and run them off the court second half.

Yes RMW, but good teams don't let mediocre mid-majors play them evenly for a half; just really uninspired basketball from my perspective and that is on the staff imho.

I don’t know who Wusu thinks he is. How is he not immediately removed from the game after that shot attempt
It’s an awful shot. If there’s any reason for anyone to take a shot there it’s because the clock and a 2 for 1. But still bad shot. The bigger issue to ke is the shot, or better yet, the shot we didn’t get with the final possession.
