ND Wants To Keep STJ On Schedule - Should We Agree

NOTRE DAME USED BIG EAST FOR OWN BENEFIT,GIVING NOTHING....NOW TRIES SAME STUFF WITH ACC,WITH NBC HELP....I SAY SCREW IRISH....NO GAMES AT MSG,BKLYN,CC...ALSO,BEFORE BIG EAST,SYRACUSE USED TO CRUSH SJ AT MANLEY FIELD...OFTEN WITH HELP OF REFS...DONT SEE ANY BENEFIT PLAYING THEM,UNTIL NCAAS..THINK NEW BIG EAST WILL BREAK UP INTO AND BB DIVISIONS... 
 
We should not schedule any schools that left the Big East. Doing that gives them exposure in New York and helps them recruit. 
 
As long as I can remember ND was on our schedule...there was a time when they that was the only game that sold out Alumni Hall. I think they are more of a St. John's tradition than just another former Big East team...I say we should keep 'em and beat the **** out of them on the court.
 
Been going to games since 1972 and don't remember ND ever playing in Alumni Hall. When was the last time we played them in AH?  
 
 I know for sure in 1964 or 1965. They had a forward who was an All American lineman. Name escapes me.

Your 100% right they screwed us by leaving now suffer the consequences no dates with us

I would schedule Kentucky & Florida at garden home & away opposite in holiday festival so their fans will
make trip to shop nycity for holidays!
Keep Duke & UCLA add maybe Kansas

We used to play em when we were independent, they joined the be under their terms, without fb, now they're screwing us, adios.

We played them on campus in the late sixties. They had Austin Carr and two other DeMatha players from the team that beat Alcindor's Power team. They beat us in a very close game. I think the series was discontinued for a time because ND had their new 9,000 seat arena and wanted SJ to move our home game to MSG. We declined.

Remember ND beating us in MSG think in mid to late 70's when they had Toby Knight and Adrian dantley and we had chance to win at buzzer on baseline j by Glen Williams that was blocked by Knight and no foul was called. I was sitting under opposite basket and it sure looked like a foul-remember discussing non call with Lou. 
 
Toby Knight, my HS's most famous alum athlete. I graduated with his twin sisters.
 
 nd just dropped Michigan in football beause they have no room on their schedule.
Same will apply to us in hoops I hope.
 
 They could care less about St. John's , they just wanna play here for their NY alumni. So we shouldn't schedule them.
Their stinkin alumni destroyed the BE and they still wanna play here ? no !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at the Syracuse sign at Yankee stadium, they boldly say their NY's college team. And if St. John's ever got considered for ACC membership, Syracuse would fight like hell to keep us out because they wanna be NY's team. Never forget that. Same with ND, if we accomodate them , they'll be the first ones complaining we don't belong in the ACC because we aren't an elite school like they are.

Ive been posting for years that Notre Dame should have never been brought into the BE and that when they were they led to our downfall by letting Miami and BC leave as they wouldnt play football with the BE. I couldnt care less about ND. I am sure they will find some team to schedule a game or two at the Garden and Barclay but we should never schedule them
