I hate Arkansas, going back to 1993. I hate Mike Anderson, also screw them and Walmart. I hate their former scumbag Governor and our Fmr President. F them for the hog fans that read this. Will be back but they still have shit pizza

Two studs that got away….. Edgecomb and Fland came back to haunt us.
Agree re: a golden opportunity missed as I felt this group could go deep, and you won't find another Richmond in the portal. This season has been really fun, and it sucks to have it end playing terribly AND in the 2nd round.

The 3's were frustrating, but Arkansas was only 2/19 from 3, themselves.
They got a couple of early blocks on us, and that got us caught in-between going inside, hence the missed layups.
That's life in the single elimination tournament, though. It was still a great season. The most fun I've had in a long, long time.

Most fun in decades. I'm miserable as hell right now, but at least this season proved we can be a force again.

Definitely could be. The play i screamed in all caps about he was WIDE open with an easy bucket and RJ just didn’t pass it to him. Game was close too at the time.
That was as confusing as RJ's shooting. All season, we've controlled the game on the defensive end. I expected we might see a rough shooting day but never thought the D would break down.

All game he would charge like a bull and an Arky player would just grab the ball, he never passes, maybe Rick got sick of seeing that.

Next time take my scouting report more seriously because it was on the money.
That said, this is one game where we beat ourselves with piss poor shooting and getting nothing inside other than Zuby who was fantastic. Mike Repole will make sure he is back. RJ may have thought he was NBA ready but not after today.
I don't expect Lefteris back and Vince may test the market. 50/50 we cut Maker and rebuild our entire front court. Wilcher also 50/50 after today.
Need a better shooting lineup obviously and I have no doubt Rick will get players.
This year was special and it is a shame our luck ran out against an Arkansas team just as shaky as us.
I’m in Providence at the coffee shop near the Arena. What happened with RJ? Why no return? Sick? Injured? Mad? Please let me know. Thanks.

Hey he just had a bad shooting game…. It happens . Should still have been in game at the end.
This game shows how important RJ was to the team. Without his production we lose.
Bringing in Vince over Prey has astounded me all year. Prey had 4 points and 4 rebounds 3 of which were offensive rebounds. Vince is a statue especially against an athletic team like Arkansas and he had zeros across the board. Wilcher played is usual get beat on defense and commit silly fouls to compensate hurt us. Playing three quarters of the game with 40% of your starters watching the game in foul trouble is not a winning formula. I can't remember Luis shooting a 15 footer the whole game. He continued to drive into a crowd and he missed prayer shots all day.
I wouldn't mind so much if we played our usual good game only to be beaten by a better team but this game was an embarrassment for a 2 seed which in the end didn't help us at all.

This is why I'm a proponent to not be strictly wedded to one defense. I would've played zone here and there to throw off Arkansas. With that said, a better game by Luis and Richmond/or Scott and we win.
