NCAA Tourney matchups

great games today. that manhattan turnover with 2 minutes left was a killer. dumb pass but they played tough

Manhattan didn't look like a typical cinderella, they actually looked like the better team for most of the night. Luke Hancock for Louisville just went berzerk that final minute. I see why everyone is so high on Masiello

I think Harvard beats Cincy and I think Providence beats North Carolina

It won't last long. But I do have St Joes over Pukon

I guess someone should fire Martelli, They went out in the first round after winning A10. UCONN wanted it more
especially when the freshman hit the turnaround and free throw after getting the offensive rebound. :p

How do you foul on a two when you're up 3. Let him score and just inbound the ball.

Its really not that easy.

I think the time has come in college basketball where we have to accept the fact that parity is here more than ever and it is silly to build up the winning coach and drag down the loser after every game.
The tournament contests are showing there is very little difference between the top ten and number forty and between forty and eighty the difference is even less. This has been the trend for many years . It is not so much the coaches of mid majors are so good ,but the fact that there are so many good players.
For the past twenty five years colleges have dropped admission requirements which resulted in a tremendous pool of players. The coaches of Manhattan, Mercer, Albany etc. may all be good coaches but the current results are due to the pool of good players.

Adios Duke! What a pleasure. Sure Tony of Fairfield is happy!!

Paul, I am home today and I saw that ending. You bet I'm happy. I am thrilled!!! Woohoo!!! I think I'm going to adopt Mercer in this tournament.

How sweet! -- especially coming on the heels of Coach K's dismissing the A-10's inclusion of as many teams in the tournament as the ACC's as insulting (http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/10616782/mike-krzyzewski-coach-duke-blue-devils-believes-acc-bubble-teams-better) -- to see a 14 seed from the Atlantic Sun conference take Duke down. Just great!
