Duke fans make this difficultThe Duke blue water is warm and well welcome you in for March and April
In all seriousness it’s hard not to like cooper Flagg and this Duke team and Scheyer is a lot more likable than K. Just pretend it’s not Duke.
On the one hand, I would like to see the Big East be represented in the Sweet 16, but on the other hand…For the most part, I couldn't care less about the tournament anymore, lol. If anything, I'll be rooting for Houston to win it all.
You’re a stronger man than me. I’m done watching this.I have a very little excitement watching these games now lol
In the Providence airport getting ready to root half heartedly for UCONN (aargh)You’re a stronger man than me. I’m done watching this.
lol, can’t do it.In the Providence airport getting ready to root half heartedly for UCONN (aargh)
Not just you. Only two upsets were literally the most predicted. First two rounds completely lack the magic that makes it a fun tournament.Outside of St. John’s for me, this Tournament has been a bore. Not many surprises or tight games. I’ve watched most everything and it’s been ho hum. That’s just me.
Exactly my sentiments, who cares who wins now ? Thé field is filled with numerous unlikeable coaches.Your first sentence is where I am.
I wonder if transfer mania has drained the traditional solid mid majors, precluding ability to steal a game or two in the Dance. So many well scouted lower level players get poached every year depriving them of player development opportunities. Not just you. Only two upsets were literally the most predicted. Forgot where I saw it, but the main correlation this year seems to be a lot of bad three point shooting. But if this is a trend, sport is in big trouble.I wonder if transfer mania has drained the traditional solid mid majors, precluding ability to steal a game or two in the Dance. So many well scouted lower level players get poached every year depriving them of player development opportunities.
This is the future sjc88. With NIL now, the power conference schools are using these smaller schools as a farm system. These smaller conference schools can’t keep their best kids because the power conferences are offering them NIL and they’re leaving. These smaller conference mid majors have all freshman and sophomores now and not juniors and seniors. There will be only be 1 or 2 upsets a year now for the mid majors and small schools, maybe. The dogs that will win will be like yesterday. A 10 seed from a major conference beating a 2 seed from a major conference. But, these smaller conference teams are done. The system is now set up for them to fail even more than it was before. The 7-10, 8-9, 6-11, and 5-12 games where two major conference teams are playing will be the tough picks. In those games, you will have a dog win when they have the better coach. We got lucky with Drake and McNeese St. this year to give the tournament some excitement. Can’t see that happening much going forward.Outside of St. John’s for me, this Tournament has been a bore. Not many surprises or tight games. I’ve watched most everything and it’s been ho hum. That’s just me.
He’s very good and likely a top 5 pick. Very heady, aggressive, confident and high bb iq. But I think he was not immune to freshman mistakes. I’d gladly take him on my team any day.The more I’ve watched McNeeley the more I think he’s just a great college player.
If they move on, I’ll be pissed.UConn playing well tied w Florida at the half 31-31
