The clear narratives from last year's tournament were:
1) The BE and ACC are the 2 best conferences. Same as it ever was.
2) Ucant was by far the best of the best.
3) The Mountain West sucks a$$ and got way to many bids.
4) The Ncaa is an abhorrent, corrupt organization.
The Ncaa is an abhorrent, corrupt organization has already been proven true before the opening tip.
The ACC 5th place team just HUMILIATED the Mountain West 5th place team on a neutral court. We shall see.
Big early test to the SEC is g*d narrative as our own Xavier takes on Texas. We shall see.
Ucant is no longer the best of the best and it will be almost impossible for the BE to replicate its 3 for 3 to the sweet 16 success of last year due to seeding and placement. See #4 above. Can SJU carry the conference mantel forward in the toughest region with the toughest draw? We shall see.
Can the drunken Redfans loyalists get out of Providence with zero arrests? We shall see.

It's basically just a list of teams that are top 20 offensively and top 40 defensively on KenPom. We are #65 offensively and #1 defensively.

Wow, dk you are correct. Of the 24 NYT The Athletic experts, none has us winning it all but 6 have us in the FF and track through the EE, SS, with high%s, so, good for them.
