NCAA Tournament seeding

I realize all that and agree but my point is who was so aggrieved by being left out. It’s like when they pick the all star team and people name 5 guys who should have been selected but then you ask them then who are you taking out. In other words maybe based on their season you may think they are undeserving but maybe they got in because as 68th team there wasn’t a team more deserving. And I’m just asking I don’t do a deep dive into bubble teams to judge for myself.
West Virginia, Boise State or Indiana to name a few. UNC literally beat no one. To me all they had to do was go 4-9 instead of 1-12 and they would rightfully say we beat so and so. They couldn’t do that.

Part of my point is, as a blue blood they get opportunities other schools do not. St, John’s would have trouble getting that many Q1s on the schedule. They squandered that edge yet are rewarded.

I won’t die on this hill but it’s a joke. Anyway Go St. John’s.

I put UC Irvine and George Mason in there over middling majors. Irvine went on the road 17 times and were 14-3.

I realize the selection committee has a tough job when it comes to the last bids but I resent their reasoning when they select an undeserving blue blood like NC and then make sure they tell the gullible hosts that the head of the committee who just happens to be the NC AD stepped out of the room , closed the door and nothing to do with the selection.
They take us for idiots and to think that a host would object and ask for concrete reasons is asking too much.

The 7 seeds are: St. Mary's, UCLA, Marquette, and Kansas. I'd probably rather play St. Mary's, followed by Kansas, than UCLA.
The 10 seeds are: Arkansas, New Mexico, Vanderbilt, and Utah St. Rather play Utah St, than Arkansas, than Vanderbilt.
