Selection show is in a few hours, so let's get the NCCA T thread started.

Current issue:  Who makes it in?  Michigan?  Xavier?  Indiana?  Buzz if he loses?

Richmond edges Davidson by two points in very enjoyable, tight game  for A10 T title. Future HOF coach Bob McKillop’s Davidson squad should be safely in Dance, but Richmond just caused agita for several bubble teams. Great time of year!

Including a certain NIT bubble team.

Looking forward to rooting against the 9 Big Ten teams. Providence rough second round matchup . Xavier not in the sane zip code tonight. I’m going with Vermont first round upset

Would have liked to hve seen any of the 3 lower BE seeds avoid the dreaded 8/9. Seems that is slated for the mid tier BE schools year after year.

We could meet them next year in the Empire Classic.

Ridiculous that Michigan, indiana and Rutgers all make the tournament, and ridiculous high seeding for Michigan state.  Hurt Xavier or Oklahoma getting in.  Hope st john's doesn't get bumped out of NIT now

Once again Big Ten given way too much respect getting 9 teams in. Purdue is the only one I see with any Final Four potential.

I thought that early in the season.  On paper Purdue should be a top 3 team in the country, and Painter is a good coach.  And yet when you watch them they are either missing something or the whole is less than the sum of the parts.  Probably the latter since I can't see what they're missing.

I wonder if the issue is that they play differently when Edey is on the floor as opposed to when Williams is on the floor and the result is that they lack continuity.  Not sure, it's just strange.

They SHOULD be able to overwhelm people in the early rounds, but they have lost some games that are just head scratchers for me.  Would not be shocked if they get upset somewhere along the line.  Would actually be mildly surprised if they make the Final 4 and I did NOT see myself saying that a few months ago.

So there was a lot of chatter about putting Nova in the EAST as a 3 or 2 seed with the Regional in Philly.

But they put them in the South as the 2 seed.  Still get to play first 2 games in the state of Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh.

Predictions for Big East teams in the NCAA tournament?

My votes:
Most likely to reach Sweet 16:  Nova, UConn
Most likely to be upset:  Providence
Will be lucky to win one game:  Seton Hall
Should win a game but no optimisim after that:  Marquette, Creighton

Agree with all, but UConn reaching Sweet 16

I thought he was referring to the cheerleaders.  /media/kunena/emoticons/silly.png
