NCAA round 1 airfares

Would love to go see them play but I'm already booked for my yearly March Madness excursion to Vegas. Last year, once one of the sports book employees saw my St Johns shirt he let me cut the line each time to place my wagers. See, there are positives about being an SJU fan.
 
I ended up using miles instead of the raised prices. Kudos to the ones who bought as soon as announced before they raised the prices

Glad you got off the fence. I'm takng a 6:30 AM flight, which means that the 940 pm game will be a killer. When I looked at using miles on US Air or American, when you factored in the late book charge it wasn't worth it. Airlines have really reduced the number of non-stop awards so you usually pay a premium for those flights. I hope there are some school sponsored events in Charlotte.
