The bigger question to me is how do you make millions a year and not have a serviceable big man off the bench, especially considering the issues with Obekpa that surfaced last season. Also, why does no one seem to notice that SDSU put a shooter on the floor? Like the first game against Carlino, where he had to hit about 4 or 5 threes until someone on the staff got the brilliant idea to put someone near the guy.
 
I understand the frustration. But, these guys hit about 4 or 5 ridiculous buckets. If Rysheed can play longer than 2 TV TOs without getting that 3rd foul, we'll be alright.

2nd half will be a different story. SDSU is not a good team, they're big and we can't change that, but there's no way they hit 1/2 of those shots.

I'm sorry but you guys are ridiculous. Blame lavin for the roster, but it's not his fault Polee, a 27 percent three point shooter, banked in two threes and hit two more.

If Obekpa was not such a selfish bonehead we win this game, no doubt.

Can we just root for our seniors and stop the lavin bitching until the end of the game.

So you think they continue shooting like they did in the first half?
 
Jordan can make a difference in the 2nd. Keep jones out of the game. I get nauseous watching him stand around watching like a spectator instead of fighting for rebounds.
 
No Delarosa in 2nd half. Scrape a few minutes with Jones and Ali and ride the starters. Use your TO's to give the guys a breather. No need to rest anyone.

So the fact Rysheed sat for the whole half means nothing? The fact they banked two 3s means nothing? I don't believe that at all.

The only guy who had a good half was Dom. I'm not worried. Talk to me 2 TV TOs in.
 
3pointers are the only real difference in the game. We have 2 less FG attempts.

This is the pace they want. They are not a slow team at at all...they'll gladly run with us. They are actually more athletic and they are deeper. For once, we are the more skilled team.

They were pretty much one-dimensional and can't keep that shooting up. Unfortunately, I think they won't keep trying and will start pounding inside. The good news is that Dom and Amar have no foul problems and Greene and Harrison look like are getting started.

THey aren't even covering Amar after he slides to the basket off a screen...wide open every time.
