NBA Draft 2025

Zach said in one of his articles "Teams have expressed interest in the 6-foot-7 Scott as a potential late second-round pick, according to a source."

I can certainly see it. Its easier to imagine him fitting in the NBA than the others.
Scott is clearly the most directly translatable player to the NBA.

Kadary has potential in the right situation but he needs work on his shot and probably his foot speed. Would not surprise me if he works his way onto a roster eventually, though.

RJ obviously has upside but equally obviously has questions about how he fits as a role player or bench player.

I don't really see Smith so much as a basketball player as a ridiculous athlete playing basketball. Too short, old, and non-fundamental enough to be in the NBA or probably even in the G league but his skills should allow him to play hoops for living for quite a while overseas.

I guess even though he jumps through the roof, as a defender his size is a liability, and his long range shooting does not put you in mind of Steph Curry.

Devion, however, should have a long productive career overseas, he's got game.
I think the relative number of NBA workouts the 4 have had is probably instructive on the level of interest.

Each of the 4 has something compelling about them - Smith's blazing speed and leaping ability, Khadary's strength and ability to take it to the hole while shedding all pressure and getting the shot he wants, Scott's defense, shooting range and tough as nails scrappiness, and RJ's raw talent and high ceiling.

Above all that they played together and won more games than snyone predicted. Hard to learn how to win or tobteach it, so bog pluses to these guys on that account.

Wouldn't be stunned if sny or sll make the league

Keep in mind team's have to fill G league rosters and i would not be shocked if all 4 end up in the G league on 2 ways.

with the salary cap and more and more super Max Contracts there will be increased room for second round picks and players who don’t get drafted to make the league and play for much lower salariés. We just saw the Celtics shed two very good players the past two days solely to reduce their pay roll. Any team with Two stars or more with big Contracts, Lakers, Celtics, Clippers, Phoenix, Milwaukee to name a few are locked in from a salary point of view and must be creative and think out of the box.
Kadary, RJ and Scott are all worth the chance whether drafted or not. All 3 worked very hard to improve their games in college and would be worth the very low cost gamble at the next level imho.
Close to home, Lou Dort did not get drafted coming out of college after his agent at the time had told him he was a first or second rounder. He worked his but off , and I think he still does, and 2-3 years ago signed a 5 year $88 million Contract. If our 3 guys I mentionnée do the same the sky is the limit.
