NBA Draft 2025

I worry that Luis is going to get passed over, but I actually think Scott is going to sneak in there.

When watching Scott play, he appeared to have a good basketball IQ and great length and athleticism. Very translatable to NBA sooner. RJ was great for us played exceptionally well except the last game but I do feel like he has some growing to do to hone himself more. Some stuff he did in college will not work in NBA. Arkansas had length and exposed him.

Stephen Smith about as hard to take as any sports personality.
ESPN's coverage was tough to swallow.

I don't understand why these broadcasts don't put college basketball analysts on these shows. SAS has not watched more than 20 minutes of college basketball. He has no clue who most of these guys are, same can be said for the majority of those panels that get all their notes handed to them by producers. It's disingenuous and makes for a bad product. Yet they do it over and over and never learn because they think people are tuning in to hear Steven A Smith bloviate on guys he only heard of 5 minutes ago

You watched the wrong channel. ABC had the draft with Stephen A. Smith. ESPN had the draft with Andraya Carter and Jay Bilas, who are both college basketball analysts.

He's an actor, not a true analyst. From First Take to anything he does on Countdown, he is playing a role. I doubt he truly believes half of the nonsense he states. What is sad is that the business has descended into the lowest common denominator takes and discourse, and it creates a really uninformed group of fans.

I refer to him as Stupid As Shit.
Like the news, like aports in general, like everything in media, it's all about attracting audience that sells ad space. Nothing more.

When you encounter someone ina business who is honest and offers you expertise and advice without looking to make money first, it's a revelation.

That just happened to me at a Midas where I am right now. Brakes inspected for free, making intermittent scraping noise. They looked at it, said there is some ruse on rotors, nothing to worry about and plenty of brake pad. I was pleasantly shocked.

We are in a much different world than that where the truth hardly matters to most.
