Anywhere near the delinquent Boca Bash group?

My season tix were in Section 3 of Alumni Hall starting 74 thru sometime in the 90s when they decided that that they would create a student section - which never seemed to have any students.

those were great days...Row BB dead center court...chatting up with Billy Packer, Al McGuire, Tommy Heinsohn and getting cursed at by John Thompson...beating the Russians, and Bernie and Ernie...Alumni Hall was routinely packed to the rafters and fans were animated...”Here we go Redmen, here we go” was a classic fan cheer...so different now...

Anyway, eventually found my way into Section 9 at CA

My name, with nickname Tommy O, 54 my varsity football #, my old handle was OT54 which got I knocked off years ago was other nickname.

Went with my name without too much thought but RedStorm part came from being a student who was a freshman as Redmen and a fan growing up before that. Then next year the school switched to Red Storm. There was a lot of excitement that year of name change as it was the huge recruiting class of Felipe Lopez, Hamilton & Turner, new name, uniforms, logo etc. NC part just added as I relocated for work.

Lurked as a reader on & off for years before actively posting. Don't remember what specific format, board it was but first time I was shown any St. John's message related forum was my last year at St. John's, another student showed it to me via an AOL web search in schools student computer lab.

The flower children better be careful, I read the majority of std medications come from China.

Of course, syphilis won’t kill you, it will only make you blind and insane.

My dad used to post on the board and was “Big Daddy” so “Tha Kid” made sense. Also Kevin Garnett just started in the NBA and was being called the kid and I was 14 or 15 and “tha” was being used so I guess I went with it.

My mother and stepfather live in Sun City Center, in the Kings Point senior community (independent living). They've been there for a year and a half, and they love it.

The two infdependant facilities next to Kings Point where I do klive are the Towers (which in my opinion looks like a prison from the outside)and strin Gardens which has a more residental look.My mother in law lives here in independant living which also has assisted and memory care units
