Murray St Official Game Thread

How is anyone going to score against this front line down low once Sanchez clears? It's tough enough right now. Starting to get a feel for Sampson's skill sets.
 
And of course right on cue after blown calls they get big 3's. Unbelievable. We should be heading into half with a double digit lead.
 
1st half mishaps...2 major flops by #2 both led to turnovers. Id like to see an inadvertent elbow right through his chin/fro. The kick ball which led to a 3...there was a big travel right before the pass. the delayed 3 point foul call where they knocked down all 3. The play where DLo was thrown out of bounds with the ball. The jump ball which was simply a block...These refs suck balls
 
totally outplayed them the whole half then in the last 2 minutes they cut it to 3, regroup at the half and get the lead back to double digits.
 
great 17 minutes!! Refs definitely did us no favors on the sampson foul and non blocking foul call on the flopping ben wallace look a like, which resulted in a back court violation.

Agree..We just need to get back to playing D the way we were and we will run the lead up again in the 2nd half...they are very fortunate to be in the game...

A comeback fueled by referee ball. One after the other. Down 13, Murray State throws up an air ball from 3, and a non foul is called on Sampson. Then the Harrison non call leads to a 3. The block called a jump ball leads to a three. Then a non foul called with 0.1 to go in the half.
 
St Johns needs to come out strong in the second half they did well the last two games in the opening of the second half. Sampson will be back on the court and flying
 
Very disappointing to only be up 3 at the half. We were badly outplaying them until some questionable officiating toward the end of the half.
 
The refs didn't help, but the last 5 minutes we stopped executing offensively.
Hope we come out focused in the second half.
