Nice first step. Step 2 is getting a Twitter like every other Big East coach. :)

To those clamoring for Roberts to get minutes, many players have had their confidence shattered by premature playing time. The assumption that force feeding a player always fast tracks improvement is just not a valid one. I believe the coaching staff will continue to go with their best players regardless of size.

On a team with depth Roberts would be a red shirt candidate. Very raw and hopefully develops via practice. This class in underwhelming to be honest.

No sense giving Trimble minutes over Roberts with the roster as is. Pretty sure Williams can give us better minutes at the guard spot.

You would be correct if we were playing Duke tomorrow but MSM doesn't have a Zion Williamson on its roster. If he can't minutes in this game we may be in trouble. It would be nice to see if he has anything to contribute against a very weak team before he and Earlington transfer.

Come on 73, you never heard of four year players?

Gib mir jetzt eine Pause

Once again, ignore the point of the post to take your silly, immature shots. Roberts is not ready to contribute right now, anyone with a modicum of basketball sense knows that. So he develops in practice or not, we shall see. But I do appreciate the reminder of your crush on Zion Williamson, hopefully it doesn’t keep you up at night.

Would make sense, since we're only 1-6 vs. the spread so far this year.

However, if we are favored every game, win outright but don't cover, that would be just fine by me.

It appears that you are the one taking shots with your retort as usual.
I made my comment as pertains to the competition. MSM is 0-7. They lost to Maryland by 50. Lost to Hofstra by 17.
If Josh Roberts cannot contribute against that level of competition then he doesn’t belong on the team and his recruitment was a waste of time. PERIOD!

1) How many points to we need to win by to keep everyone here happy?

2) How “close” does the lead have to drop down to in the 2nd half before people start wetting themselves and complain about games we don’t play in for a month?

I'd hope that Roberts & Williams get 8-10 minutes in at least 3 of our next 5 games. Reading the NY post article JSJ posted on another thread, it doesn't sound like a lock that Keita will be back for our first BE game

1. Trick question. Most on here are perpetually unhappy so no chance to make them happy. If we win by 100 they will come up with something. Next year's recruiting. Mullin's socks. Roberts and Williams PT.

2.Complaints will come when Mount ST Mary's scores a point.

ST John's 82
Mount ST Mary's 70
I think Darth Vader said it best:
"People will complain Ray. They'll come to the ST John's forum for reasons they can't even fathom. They'll post complaints not knowing for sure why they're doing it. They'll arrive at the sight as innocent as children, longing for the past when we would lose in 2nd round of NCAA every year. Oh people will definitely complain Ray."
