Lovett and Ponds are great. I thought Mullin did a nice job getting us back. We will be a really entertaining 15 win team.

People need to stop with him and Mussini. Maybe eventually RF can be productive but not anytime soon. Ahmed and Yakwe need to play better, because THEY can
That second quarter really killed us.
We made some runs in the second half but never really threatened.
Pitino talking about falling behind says his team saw a thin team and didnt realize they would play so hard.
but this will be a long year if Yakwe and Sima and Ahmed cant score consistently underneath and hit their foul shots.

Ellison missed in every conceivable way. Brick, air ball, off top of back board. Very impressive array of missing.
We lost the game because of lack of transition defense in the 1st half. We had basically zero fast break points to their 25.
We badly need Brown's and Clark's muscle next year. Another ball handler in Simmons will be a plus.
We are going to get killed by anyone over 230 lbs all season long.
Lovett and Ponds are really special on offense. We have to be thrilled by that.
(Minor thing: Lovett's high off the glass lay-up shot didn't fall at all, he's got to work on that)
Ellison is not a PG. It has to be only Ponds and Lovett this season. Ellison can contribute with D and spot up shooting.
There are many things to learn from in this game, most too numerous to list.

We lost all our momentum in the first half when Ellison starts running the point. He may be great in practice but weak in games. I have no faith in him. Ponds and Lovett are going to be a lot of fun to watch. Already playing beyond their years.
well we covered the spread (+7) but honestly Lovett and Ponds are terrific, our perimeter defense needs help, and our bigs need to score some points. We didn't give up i'm not that down after a loss, first real game on the road. if Mussini can't get open shots coach needs to get a better defender in the game...on to Mich St
