Minnesota, Fri. Nov. 18, 9pm, BTN/570AM

Might try crazy lineup with Sima, Owens, Yakwe, Ponds and Lovett. Until Ahmed figures things out those are our best 5 guys.

Ponds was our best player in the half...he seemed to have quite a few rebounds too.
We need a defense that isnt based entirely on the blocked shot.

We do tend to magnify strengths & minimize deficits. A total rebuild job is before us, not an instant turn around. Doesn't work that way

Transition D was a disaster. Gotta make that adjustment at half time.

That is the key. Next Why is Ellison running the offense even with Lovett on the floor?

On the bright side that 5 foot shot from straightaway that he almost shot over the backboard made me laugh.

Down 10 but 6 of the 10 were a direct result of Ellison forcing a wild shot, turnover and turnover. The other 4 were Bashir Ahmed forcing things. Our traditional perimeter defense is to leave the shooter wide open. This St. John's team will improve over the season and the only thing preventing us from post season are named, Simon, Clark and Brown. Out wait....that's next season. :(

Our guys, especially the new ones, may have needed a reality check after our easy games. If it was just for a half and they show poise, it may have been a valuable lesson...the games will get tougher.

We will soon find out how we respond to adversity. The first moment of truth has arrived.

Lost our composure when the game started to turn. We'll see what kind of bounce-back we have.

I'm starting to think a better defensive strategy would be for us to just foul them every time they take a 3 and hope they miss 1 of the ft's
