Mike Repole Piece

Mike’s public warpath against the Racing Association has had its repercussions over the last two years. Are these scratches becoming a curious pattern? Definitely -

Those of you that know Mike know it is just not in horse racing that he is outspoken.
He pulls no punches and doesn't play the political correctness game.
This is a guy who told the Board of Trustees exactly what he thought of a former SJ president. He puts his money where his mouth is and is the real reason we are relevant again......maybe more so than CRP.
Of course racing has been in his blood from a very young age......even before he became rich enough to buy stables of horses. I remember going up to Connecticut to watch him race his dogs.
He's a great family man who comes from a great and humble family.
This weekend they were all with him to support him along with his friend Ron DeSantis from Florida.
The Racing Association and the Cadre of Aholes whose circle he doesn't fit in can't touch Mike!

Heard it was muddy - wonder if Desantis wore his white boots..

A lot of us from Queens are like Mike. At least the people I grew up with. We are bridge and tunnel people with a chip on our shoulder at times. That doesn't mean we aren't caring people.

When I was in Lexington last year touring a number of horse farms I could see that he ruffled some feathers. I have been a horse racing fan since Seattle Slew. My brother goes back to Secretariat. I love the sport and thank you Mike for making it more interesting. The Race for the Crown series on Netflix is very interesting.
