Sima is a year away. He just thinks over-quick when he tries to shoot it from close and he ends up flinging it at the rim. He's got a 20% chance of getting it in the hoop. It's not a good play at this point.
Frankly, we should be shooting 3s, and not much else right now.

I'd say we're lucky to only be down 3 but they played so poorly it feels like we missed a real opportunity to have a nice lead at the half. Based off the track record you've gotta expect that Izzo is gonna get his guys focused for the 2nd half.
Frankly, I think our 3 point shot is our best option. Our post guys just can't it done yet (and probably not for the rest of the season). Lovett, Ponds, Mussini and Ahmed shooting 3's off of screens or picks is probably our best play at this point.
The team is shooting 20% from 2 pt range (flinging ball at basket from post or tough drives to the hoop), and we're shooting 33% from 3.. Shoot more 3s and we win. Stop virtually all post moves. It's nice that Sima and Yakwe have practiced it so much, but they still aren't ready for prime time.

Some double teaming is in order for Bridges but Williams and Ellison are too slow. We are down because we can't finish within 5 feet of the basket. A couple of calls went against us abdominal we should have been up right now against a nationally ranked team
