if we went 2-1 I'd be ecstatic because I had us pegged at 1-2 before the season started so that would be making up for the loss last night which I had as W and get us back on the mjmaherjr 15 win path

I had them with a L last night.
I have them beating MSU and losing to Baylor then winning the last game.

If we keep MSU to no more then 72, then I'll say we'll have a good chance at winning this.
And you'd like to think after last night, that they'll be working on transition defense.

Couldn't disagree more. There aren't many situations under which we have a "good chance of winning this". Not sure how anyone who has watched both teams play could pick SJU for a W.

And we gave up 90 to Minnesota. We could add Moutombo and Gary Payton and Mich St. would still get 75+.

True, we can't be giving up 90+ points, but Mich St. 2 big men are injured.
Bridges is avg 10boards pergame, Goins 7.7, and Ward 6.0 and that''s it so I believe we could win the rebounding games, thought we played a decent half court defense.

If (notice, I said IF) they work their asses off in practice with transition def and improve alot, maybe give up 10pnts there instead of 23 we could possibly win?
They aren't a big offensive threat on offense either. 63 vs. Az, and 48 vs. uk. Yeah I know those 2 are much b etter then us, but i'm just saying.

Bridges is 17pnt, Ward 11.7, Harris 9.3 and McQuaid 9.0
Then Goins at just 5.0.

So, I'm just saying that i think we have a real shot in this game

Winning this game is quite a longshot and even keeping it close is asking for a lot. But if if everything goes perfect, then who knows? Crazier things...

Feels like for us to even be in this thing, Ahmed is going to have to have his coming out party. I assume he's going to be matched up with Bridges. If Bashir can make Bridges have to work on defense maybe he'll be less effective on offense and won't eat us for lunch? Miles Bridges is a special player. Also our inside guys have to come ready to bang. Gonna be a tough one. Not expecting a win but hopefully the team will show some toughness, play together and make it an interesting game to watch. Anything beyond that is cause for celebration.

It is nice having Lovett score 31 but for us, to win he needs to get everyone involved in the scoring and those that get involved like Mussini,ellison must hit their shots.Our bigs need to just play D control the boards and hit the guards going for fast breaks.Last game imo was to much run and gun we lost our goal and team play. We are a good passing team and Lovett needs to do what a good PT guard does create for others and do his own scoring by not taking 27 shots if we like last trs syracuse game have a good %shooting we cab win . That being dais even if we play thses teams close it is a big improvement and fun to watch not be blown out all the time.One can predict what a difference maker like Zach Brown would make this team. If we are not NCAA bound next yr something is not right

do you have verizon fios ? I think it's 569 on there. It's a cool channel. During jazziest they broadcast from there and have a lot of the concerts
