Things were going fairly well throughout much of the first half, offensively, then the wheels came off towards the end of the half. We never got back on track since that derailment.

RJ a good piece but not a savior by any means. I would temper expectations, particularly his first few games back.

No depth on this team right now either.

Sim isn't ready to play against the big boys yet.
Dunlap's body is nowhere near ready to be a major conference contributor.
Conway is too small and slow for this level.
It's clear why Zuby didn't get much burn at Kansas last year even when they were thin up front.
Drissa, Davis, Ayo not made for this level and probably never will be.

Long way to go obviously and nobody better than Pitino at developing players but the immediate future may not be very promising.

SSDD, I guess the Pace scrimmage kind of foretold there may be some issues. I wouldn’t be upset with a loss but being destroyed at every aspect of the game is disheartening.
