Curious to see how the playing time distribution changes in this game. Ledlum, Soriano and Jenkins got big minutes and that will continue. Expect Dingle to play more. Would like to see a little more from Taylor and less from Conway. Michigan has some solid players so we will need to tighten up the defense.

Michigan will be tough, but it's very winnable. Every excuse we have early they can match us with. Their starting center shot 40% from the FT line last year, so that could prove to be costly for them. The game plan has to be to get Alleyne and Dingle open looks from deep. Jenkins will be able to get his shot whenever he wants it anyway, and Ledlum will have tons of opportunities to drive or shoot if he's patient. Dingle really has to be force-fed the ball here.

I'm fine going 2-1 in Charleston if we steal this game.

They have an extensive highlights Clio in YouTube that basically is a play-by-play. Michigan very much a half-court team that spreads the court a lot and utilizes good screening up too and good spacing and shooting. They get back on defense well and are disciplined. That said, we pose a lot of challenges for them that UNC Asheville didn’t with a dominant center, our depth and significant talent advantage over what Asheville had. Michigan will have a lot harder time doing what they did to Asheville offensively.

In addition, Michigan doesn’t seem to have any very good interior defense and Asheville could get to the rim quite a bit. Should be a fun game. Definitely gotta defend the three.

This imo will be very competitive game. Hopefully our aggressive D, which Rick says is work in progress, will be the difference. Rick’s staffs always scout and prepare well so it should be interesting. RP on our sideline v Michigan AC on theirs is a SJU advantage.

I will be very curious what the minutes distribution is for this game. I think CRP will cut the rotation to really 8 guys -- we'll see 10 but in closing time of the first half or right before a TV time out to give guys a breather.

Last night was still a rehearsal for some of these guys (look how competitive the closing minutes were from an effort standpoint). Monday will be us seeing who made a positive impression.

I'll also be there. Can't wait!

we're going to ride or die with a core 7 on Monday:
Joel
Ledlum
Jenkins
Dingle
Taylor
Alleyane
Davis

The others will fill the holes:
Sim
Conway
Dunlap
Zuby
Drissa

In the post game radio interview, Bob Walsh said they really want Sim to be the PG. That they're working really hard to get him to be that. So i expect him to be a critical piece come Big East

We definitely know that Michigan scouted. That’s what they pay good money for over there.

I think Luis might be available and he could be an x-factor if so. He only had an off-hand injury and hasn’t been out for long. I still think he may rest most of it though because we have enough depth.
