9/30 shooting and a -10 rebounding differential for SJ

Yes, Clark & Simon have been out of sync for a while now. Heron struggling today as well

Terrible half of basketball. Whole 2nd half to go. SJU still has a chance to get back in this game.

Everyone else on the team have gotten numerous looks. Simon a disaster inside. Trimble not even close on his 3s. Fig and heron missing. This has nothing to do with shamorie

Ponds will not make it in the NBA because he can’t be true PG and he can’t make the people around him better.
SJ -7 on boards
But nearly even on offense boards, they have 1 more. They have way more rebounds because we have way more missed shots.

Interesting that we only have 4 turnovers to their 9.

The 1/3/1 GT zone threw Johnnies for a loop. Went comatose after that.

You have some of the best takes I've seen ever!

Thought you said you couldn't watch this garbage anymore

We are getting killed on the boards by a team that is not a particularly good rebounding team - vey bad sign. Because we lack discipline, we also commit a lot of silly reach-in fouls. Even if we come back and win this game, this kind of play is going to kill us if we continue it in BE play.

Simon, Heron, Fig all having off games. Clark out for most of the first half. Worst shooting of the year and down 9. Gtch totally controlled tempo. Knocking Ponds is not the answer. He played well and tried to get others involved. They just missed everything.

Ponds is a great scorer at the college level. That’s what he is. He doesn’t know how to manage a game and be a true PG. He undisciplined with his shot selection, but he is a volume shooter and therefore puts up a lot of points. When he’s hot he’s one of the best scorers in the country. But he’s not a leader on the court in manner in which a great QB in football would run an offense.
