I know, I have a reputation. And my opinion has been clear for a long time.

But really, did he thank anyone? What was the purpose of the message? To defend himself?

The tone of this e-mail makes it seem like a personal e-mail to someone. Not sure why he'd publically be this forthcoming

If this is a parody it's pretty good because it's Lavin in a nutshell.

He makes excuses for his failures, puffs up his minor accomplishments, takes credit for future success, dresses the whole thing up in new age psychobabble and can't even be bothered to write in complete sentences. 3 to 5 he wrote it while sitting on the toilet.
 
It was a text message he sent to people he is close with you reached out to him after the news.

Stop making it more than it is.

The guy is classy and left us in better shape than when he started. Half of you on this board are miserable with nothing else going on in your lives to just continue knocking somebody.

It is embarrassing.
