Maryville Saints - Exhibition matchup
It is free!
As my father would say, “If it’s free, it’s for me”

I am really excited for the start of the season even if it is an exhibition game. It’s hard to make it out to the 6:30 games but plan to be there tonight and for the opener. Let’s go Redmen.
Any online stream? Given the current 4 hour time difference between London and NY I can actually watch some of this one.

Edit: Just saw above. Not sure I can watch ESPN3, but will attempt.
II assume you're going to have to work on some VPN action. I tried to watch ESPN3 in Hong Kong earlier in the year, or the year before, and was blocked.

Just got in the building excited to see the Boys in action finally and as a season ticket holder for the first time! Our opponents are tiny we won’t get to say that too much this year lol

The starting five tonight

0- Sedee Keita
2- Shamorie Ponds
5- Justin Simon
13- Marvin Clark II
30- LJ Figueroa

Not sharp off the bat, but give it time. Keita super mobile for a big guy and goes after it. Initial good sign. He’s really a Pf, but big enough at center.

He hesitated.. it was ugly lol..

Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah
Nah nah nah nah nah nah
Gettin’ Figgy with it

Liking what I see so far, lots of energy and hustle from LJ

We have athletes at all positions and energy at both ends.. gotten tighten up defensively a lot... sloppy but we are really fast and athletic..

U12 St. John's is up 13-12. St. John's has played 7 players thus far.

And they are all named Tariq Owens

Keita will be more than fine for us. He’s getting after it as is Figueroa. We know Clark, Ponds, Simon all can play even if they’re opening slowly.

Shamorie with his first bucket of the game off an offensive rebound. 30 second timeout, St. John's up 24-19, 2:36 remaining.

So my review of the team after 30 seconds (okay a few minutes). I like the speed, I like Figgy, I still don't like the half court offense, the D looks active and athletic yet for some reason ineffective. Run and run and run some more I say. Meaningless drivel of course until they setlle in, just posted for my own amusement.
