Marquette, Sun. Jan. 24, 3:45pm, 970AM-TV Delayed

IT'S GONNA BE A F'ING BLIZZARD BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
WEATHER CHANNEL NOW SAYING 18-24 I LOVE IT.

Sorry old people :)

jkkkkkkkkk

I only listen to weatherman
weathermannyc saying as of now 10-15 but that's enough to stop me from going tot he game because my street with the hills are a mess when it snows

Told you 18-24, 10-15 was a joke. Snow for this long, with lots of periods of heavy bands, and only 10-15.
I think they go for low total so they dont scare the public.

weathermannyc always takes the more conservative route in the beginning but he was on the money with his text updates and was the first one calling up to 25 before the tv weather people today and was the one briefing the mayor

but yeah your 18-24 was pretty close

Ok, no game. Who wants to come over and shovel? :(

A little early if you ask me, but I guess they want to get Marquette out of here.

#SJUBB vs. @MarquetteMBB rescheduled for Sun., Jan. 24, 3:45 pm at Carnesecca Arena - Ticket Info coming soonhttp://RedStormSports.com #mubb

Tonight’s St. John’s men’s basketball game versus Marquette at Madison Square Garden has been postponed due to the blizzard barreling through the metropolitan area. The BIG EAST Conference and both institutions are actively working to reschedule the contest. Continue to visit RedStormSports.com for the latest information and game updates. All ticket holders should retain their tickets until further notice.

Sincerely,

The Madison Square Garden Company

Could they have aligned it anymore perfectly with the AFC championship game?

Don't really see what other choice they had. The roads, etc., may not be ready for an early start tomorrow (which is why I thought even 3:45 was a bit early), and football will be going on until 10 pm, so anything later has to go against it.

After that, you are looking at Monday afternoon or evening, which probably does not get Marquette back home until Tuesday, which I'm sure they want to avoid.

Yeah, just unfortunate. Over/under people in the stands? 300? Hopefully students living on campus make the walk over.

Yeah they will miss too much class.

Marquette twitter page is reporting that the game will be broadcast via tape delay on CBS Sports Network at 6 pm tomorrow.

The game is posted on the board: Johnnies +8 I guess they are planning on playing. At least we can bet the game while trapped inside.

they have teaser bets tied to the game and how much snow we will have by game time
Yeah the teaser bets are will SJU score more points in each half than the amount of inches of snow. I took the snow in both halves.

There will be more points scored than people in the seats.
sect 114 will be changed to sec 1 based on the amount of people in our section

I just opened a bottle of vodka, I may be watching this game with one eye open.

I'm debating whether I bust open a bottle of wine now. My fear is if I open it this early 1 bottle becomes 2 bottles :)

I hope you are on bottle 2 by now, don't worry no driving anywhere tonight :)

Nah because I knew I would have to do my driveway again but now it's time to open up a bottle of Caymus Can Sauv and relax

my street hasn't even been plowed once yet

Here's the ticket info for tomorrow. Basically, you can bring tonight's tickets for General Admission tomorrow. Also info re: exchanges, if you can't make it.
